Varun Dhawan is set to begin the 30-day international shoot schedule of his next romantic-comedy, Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai from April 22, a source revealed. The film has already completed half of its shoot. Directed by David Dhawan, it also stars Mrunal Thakur, Pooja Hegde, Maniesh Paul, Jimmy Shergill, Mouni Roy, Chunkey Panday, Rakesh Bedi, and Ali Asgar in pivotal roles.

The source shared, “A lot of combination scenes, leading to chaos on screen will be shot in Scotland. The conclusion of Scotland schedule will lead to a film wrap, not-with-standing a couple of songs and some patchwork sequences.”

The film is produced by Ramesh Taurani under the Tips banner.

Varun was last seen in the actioner Baby John, which released in theatres on December 25 last year. Varun and David have worked together earlier in films like Main Tera Hero (2014) and Judwaa 2 (2017).
