Ibrahim Ali Khan opened up recently about lashing out at Pakistani journalist Tamur for a comment he made on the actor’s nose. The journalist had sent Ibrahim a message on Instagram in March, criticising his film Nadaaniyan while also making some personal remarks which invited the irk of Ibrahim, who even threatened him.

Speaking about the incident in an interview with Filmfare, Ibrahim said, “I know I shouldn’t have reacted but I’m also new to public scrutiny. When he made that personal comment about my body, it felt like a below-the-belt remark. But going forward, I’ll be more composed. I shouldn’t have reacted. It won’t happen again.”

He added, “I am a calm person… Just joking! I can have a bit of a short fuse but I’m working on it. It’s not like I randomly lose it, but yeah, if I am in a bad mood or something, then maybe.”

Ibrahim’s response to the journalist read, “Tamur almost like Taimoor… you got my brother’s name. Guess what you don’t got? His face. You ugly piece of trash. Since you can’t keep your words to yourself, don’t bother, they’re irrelevant just like you. Ugly goddamn piece of sh*t I feel bad for you and your family – and if I see you on the streets one day, I’ll make sure I leave you uglier than you are – you walking piece of sc*m.”

After this, Tamur shared the screenshot of this conversation on his Instagram stories, writing, “This is the guy I want to see in the movie. Not that fake cornetto mushy cringy human. But hey yes that nose job comment was in bad taste. Rest I totally own up. Massive fan of your dad, don’t let him down.”

Naadaniyaan was Ibrahim’s debut film and also starred Khushi Kapoor in the lead. Upon its release on Netflix in March, the film was heavily criticised and faced the brunt of social media memes and trolling.
