Kareena Kapoor Khan recently opened up about taking care of herself while aging and said that she doesn’t believe in doing skin treatment and botox. She spoke about her self-care routine and said that she is trying to be comfortable with who she is.

At a book launch event of nutritionist Rujuta Diwekar, Kareena said that she wants to work till she turns 85. “Age is just a number. My only thing is I always want to be fit to take on whatever old age brings. I want to be able to do what I have to do whether it has to go to sets at 70, 75. I want to keep working until 85, all my life.”

She added, “I want be able to bend to pick up my grandchildren. I want be able to do things and not be dependent on someone or a stick. For that, I have to eat right, and have mobility to work out. It’s not about the way I look, it’s about the way I feel and that’s what for me, aging and life is. I am embracing it.”

The actor pressed the importance of eating healthy in order to remain fit and look good. “Strength training, walking a little, doing Surya namaskars, and doing my little works on my own rather than skin treatment and botox”, she said.

Kareena was last seen in Hansal Mehta’s mystery-thriller The Buckingham Murders, which released in theatres in September last year.
