Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan to release in Japan in November

Directed by Atlee, the action-thriller released in India on September 7 last year

The Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan will be released in Japan on November 29 this year, the actor said on Thursday. Directed by Atlee, the action-thriller released worldwide (excluding Japan) on September 7 last year. It also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Deepika Padukone (guest appearance), Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, and Riddhi Dogra in pivotal roles.

Sharing the Japanese poster for the film, Shah Rukh Khan wrote, “Ek kahani justice ki. vengeance ki. villain aur hero ki. Ek kahani Jawan ki. Aa rahi hai Japan ke theatres mein pehli baar!!! Toh ab reh gaya bas ek sawaal- Ready-ah? (A story of justice, vengeance, villian and hero. A story of Jawan. It is coming to theatres in Japan! Only one question remains, Ready?) The fire & action you all loved is making a massy massy massy arrival in Japan! Jawan hits the screens in Japan on 29th Nov, 2024!”

Jawan was well received when it released in theatres last year, breaking many box-office records. According to Sacnilk, the film did a worldwide collection of Rs 1160 crore.
