Harshvardhan Rane to star in Sanam Teri Kasam 2

Sanam Teri Kasam marked the Hindi film debut of Harshvardhan and Pakistani actor Mawra Hocane

Harshvardhan Rane will be starring in Sanam Teri Kasam 2, the makers announced on Tuesday. The sequel to the 2016 romantic-musical will be produced by Deepak Mukut of Sohum Rockstar Entertainment. More details on the project are awaited.

The makers shared a photo of Deepak and Harshvardhan and wrote in caption, “Sanam Teri Kasam 2 is officially happening! After the epic love story of the first film, we’re back with more! Stay tuned for updates!”

Sanam Teri Kasam marked the Hindi film debut of Harshvardhan and Pakistani actor Mawra Hocane. It also starred Anurag Sinha, Manish Chaudhari, Murli Sharma and Sudesh Berry. It told the story of ex-convict Inder and a librarian Saru, who fall in love and get married only to meet with a tragedy that changes the course of their lives.

It was written and directed by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru and featured music by Himesh Reshammiya. It was released in February 2016 and met with mixed reviews.
