Stree 2 has surpassed the lifetime collections of Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2. According to Sacnilk, the film has minted Rs 527.25 crore at the box-office, crossing the collection of Gadar 2, which stood at Rs 525 crore.  Along with that, it has even surpassed the collection of the Hindi version of Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan (Rs 524.53 crore).

Stree 2 saw a huge drop on its fourth Friday as it collected Rs 4.5 crore. However, it shot up again over the weekend as it minted Rs 8.5 crore on Saturday and Rs 11 crore on Sunday. It had an occupancy of 29.92 percent on Sunday. The film’s worldwide collection stands at Rs 751 crore.

Stree 2 has replaced Gadar 2 to take the spot of the third highest-grossing Hindi films of all time. It was earlier reported that the film had surpassed Animal’s lifetime collection in Hindi language.

Directed by Amar Kaushik, it stars Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana.
