Varun Dhawan has revealed the name of his daughter. The actor and his wife Natasha Dalal became proud parents to a baby girl in June.
On Wednesday, Varun, along with his Citadel: Honey Bunny creators Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, had appeared on the Amitabh Bachchan-hosted Kaun Banega Crorepati 16. In the show’s Diwali episode, Varun sang a lullaby for his daughter and shared that they have named her Lara.
During the episode, Mr. Bachchan mentioned that this year, Diwali is even more special for the Dhawans as they have a new baby girl in their home. He said, “This Diwali is very special for you, Varun, as Lakshmi ji has arrived at your home.” Responding to Big B’s kind words, Varun folded his hands and thanked him.
Varun also sought parenting advice from him and asked if parental duties kept him up at night when his children Abhishek Bachchan and Shweta Bachchan were young. To this, Mr. Bachchan said, “I’ll tell you one thing, just keep your wife happy…If she is happy, everything will go well in life. This is a single formula — Wife is supreme.”
On the work front, Varun will next be seen alongside Samantha Ruth Prabhu in Raj & DK’s Citadel: Honey Bunny.
