Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap is shooting a project in Lucknow that is shrouded in secrecy. Earlier, leaked photographs of Kashyap signified that he is working on a new project in the city. Now, the filmmaker himself has confirmed that production on his next is underway there. Furthermore, filmmaker Lijo Jose Pellissery paid a visit to Kashyap's set.

"We had a very special person dropping in on our set," reads Kashyap's post on Instagram.

Earlier in the year, Kashyap supported Pellissery's film Malaikottai Vaaliban, starring Mohanlal. Responding to some of the negative reviews for the 2024 film, Kashyap said that such criticism could not reduce its quality. Kashyap called it a "great film" with an innovative and refreshing filmmaking approach from Pellissery.

Kashyap's upcoming projects include one with Bobby Deol, Sanya Malhotra, Joju George and Saba Azad, among others.

Not much is known about the project that Kashyap is filming in Lucknow.
