Singer Anup Jalota has opened up about Salman Khan’s feud with gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and said that the actor should apologize to the Bishnoi community and solve the conflict. He said this in context of the murder of politician Baba Siddiqui which took place recently after which Salman received a threat from Lawrence Bishnoi and his gang, who have asked him to apologize to the community by going to their temple.
In an interview with ABP News, Anup said, “I just want to say that it is not the time to get into who killed and who didn’t. One should realize that Salman’s close friend Baba Siddique was allegedly killed because of the same. Now, the focus should be on solving the conflict."
He added, “I have a small request for Salman to go to the temple and apologize to ensure his safety and protect his family and close friends. I am sure they will accept his apology. Salman should go and then lead a safe life... It is not the time to complicate the matter. Whether he killed or not, Salman should apologize. No one will get anything by getting stuck into the feud.”
Earlier, Salim Khan had spoken about the same to ABP News and said, “Who should Salman apologize to? How many people have you apologized to, how many animals’ lives have you saved? What crime has he committed? Have you seen him? Have you investigated the matter? We have never even used a gun.”
Last week, Mumbai traffic police received a threat message demanding Rs 5 crore from Salman and a case was registered under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) for threat and extortion. Earlier this year, Bishnoi gang members had opened fire outside Salman’s house in Bandra.
