The Akshay Kumar-headliner Khel Khel Mein, which released in theatres on August 15 but couldn’t fare well at the box office, will now be landing on OTT. The film will be released on Netflix on October 10.
Directed by Mudassar Aziz, the film has an ensemble cast that includes Vaani Kapoor, Taapsee Pannu, Fardeen Khan, Aditya Seal, Pragya Jaiswal, and Ammy Virk.
The Hindi remake of the 2016 Italian film, Perfect Strangers, Khel Khel Mein is a close-room comedy-of-errors in which a bunch of couples get together to play a game. They all will unlock their mobile phones and put them on the table and each call or message received will be shared with the entire group. Things start taking a hilarious turn as secrets start spilling out.
The film released alongside Vedaa and Stree 2 on Independence Day and could manage only Rs 40 crore at the ticket counters.
