Diljit Dosanjh and Manoj Bajpayee’s Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari to re-release in theatres

Diljit Dosanjh and Manoj Bajpayee’s 2020 release Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari is set to return in theatres. The film, directed by Abhishek Sharma and also starring Fatima Sana Shaikh, will re-release on October 18.

Manoj took to Instagram on Tuesday to share a poster from the film and make the announcement “Phir se padega Suraj par Mangal bhaari, on 18th October! Are you ready? Mark your dates if you haven't yet!” he captioned the post.

The comedy film revolves around Suraj Singh Dhillon (Diljit) who is facing rejections from prospective brides because of the work of Madhu Mangal Rane (Manoj), a sharp private detective who does background checks on prospective grooms. Suraj plans to woo Mangal’s sister Tulshi (Fatima) in order to get back at him.

The film released on November 15, 2020, and suffered on the ticket counter owing to the coronavirus pandemic.
