Ananya Panday and Lakshya are set to star in a romantic-drama Chand Mera Dil, the makers announced on Thursday. The film is produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and directed by Vivek Soni. It will be released in theatres in 2025.

Karan took to Instagram to share four posters from the film which feature Lakshya and Ananya in different moods. In the first one, they are cozily tucked up in a sweater; the second one has them sitting on a bed in a room; they are holding hands at a beautiful place in the third one and seen sharing an intimate moment in the last poster. Karan wrote in the caption, “We have two chands ready to bring an intense & passionate love story like no other! be Pyaar mein thoda paagal hona hi padta hai...(One needs to be mad when in love). Chand Mera Dil, starring Ananya Panday & Lakshya. Directed by Vivek Soni. Coming to cinemas in 2025.”

Ananya Panday was seen earlier this year in Dharmatic Production’s web-series Call Me Bae. Lakshya made his debut with the actioner Kill, which was backed by Dharma Productions as well.

Director Vivek has earlier helmed Meenakshi Sundareshwar (2021), starring Sanya Malhotra and Abhimanyu Dasani.
