The Oscars Academy share Shah Rukh Khan’s helicopter entry clip from K3G: ‘Is this SRK’s best entry scene?’

The Oscars Academy took to social media ahead of Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday to share a clip of the superstar from the film Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001). In the scene, Shah Rukh is seen making a grand entry from a helicopter as his mother, played by Jaya Bachchan, senses his return. Over the years, the scene has become memorable for its heightened display of emotions.

Sharing the clip, The Academy wrote, “A mother’s intuition is always right. Film: Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. Directed and written by Karan Johar. Starring Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor.” They further wrote in the comments, “Is this SRK’s best entry scene?”

It is Shah Rukh’s 59th birthday today. Karan Johar shared the video to his Instagram story and wrote, “This post made me smile wide!”

On the work front, Shah Rukh will be seen next in Sujoy Ghosh’s actioner King, which reportedly also stars his daughter Suhana Khan.
