The song ‘Zidd Na Karo’ from Pratik Gandhi’s Dedh Bigha Zameen was released by the makers on Monday. The film is written and directed by Pulkit, whose last release was Bhumi Pednekar’s Bhakshak. It also stars Khushali Kumar in a pivotal role.

The music video of the song features Pratik going through hardships as his partner, played by Khushali Kumar, stays by his side. The track is a recreation of the original song, 'Aaj Jane Ki Zid Na Karo' by Pakistani composer Sohail Rana, sung by Farida Khanum with lyrics by Fayyaz Hashmi. The recreated version features vocals by Stebin Ben, music by Rochak Kohli and lyrics by Manoj Muntashir.

Earlier, the film’s trailer was unveiled that introduced the core conflict of the film where Pratik’s character has to arrange money for the wedding of his sister.

The title of the film takes inspiration from the 1953 film by Bimal Roy, Do Bigha Zameen. Dedh Bigha Zameen is produced by Shaailesh R Singh, Suunil Jain, Hitesh Thakkar and will be released on JioCinema on May 31.
