The shooting of Manoj Bajpayee’s The Family Man Season 3 has commenced, the makers announced on Monday. The spy thriller show is directed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK who have written it with Suman Kumar. It stars Priyamani, Sharib Hashmi, Ashlesha Thakur and Vedant Sinha in pivotal roles.
The makers shared a photo of Raj and DK along with writer Suman Kumar and Manoj Bajpayee. In the caption, they wrote, “#TFM3W??? us: shoot begins. drop your excitement. #TheFamilyManOnPrime.”
The first season of the series premiered in 2019 and told the story of middle-class man Srikant Tiwari, played by Manoj, who works for the special cell of National Investigation Agency. While the first season followed Shrikant and others investigating a terror attack, the second season, which premiered in 2021, explored the military resistance of Tamilians from Sri Lanka. It ended with a glimpse into the potential conflict in season 3 involving a Chinese attack on India.
Meanwhile, Manoj Bajpayee will be seen next in Bhaiyya Ji, which marks the reunion of the Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai team, director Apoorv Singh Karki and writer Deepak Kingrani. It will be released in theatres on May 25.
