Rajkumar Rao’s Srikanth gets a new release date

Actor Rajkumar Rao took to Instagram on Saturday to announce the new release date of his film Srikanth. It will be released in theatres on May 10. The film tells the story of an industrialist Srikanth Bholla, who did not let his visual impairment come his way and eventually founded Bollant Industries. It also stars Jyotika, Alaya F and Sharad Kelkar in pivotal roles and is directed by Tushar Hiranandani.

Sharing the poster of the film, Rajkumar wrote, “A remarkable true story that will open your eyes! #Srikanth, earlier titled SRI, releasing on the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya, 10th May 2024.”

The film’s announcement video was released in 2023 which featured a voice-over by Rajkumar introducing the film. It was titled Sri back then and scheduled to release on September 15, 2023, however it got delayed. It is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar & Nidhi Parmar Hiranandani.
