Shah Rukh Khan announces Baazigar re-release in Retro Film Festival

Shah Rukh Khan's classic film Baazigar is all set for its re-release in the Retro Film Festival.

The Jawan actor has announced on his instagram handle that he his thrilled to join fans in this nostalgic journey.

The film that originally released on November 12, 1993 follows Ajay Sharma (Shah Rukh Khan) seeking vengeance on business tycoon Madan Chopra (Dalip Tahil) for betraying his father. He does it by wooing Chopra's daughters Priya (Kajol) and Seema (Shilpa Shetty). His punchline "Kabhi Kabhi Kabhi kabhi jeetne ke liye kuch haarna bhi padta..... aur haar kar jeetne waale ko baazigar kehte hai," penetrated households and it still continues to remain iconic.

This Diwali release did not just end up being a boxoffice blockbuster but it also put SRK on the map. His anti-hero role was widely appreciated by the critics. The film will be screened again in Cinepolis theatres.

Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in Dunki directed by Rajkumar Hirani.
