The web series Chamak- The Conclusion will be released on Sony LIV on August 16, the makers announced on Saturday by sharing a trailer for the show. Created and directed by Rohit Jugraj Chauhan, the series stars Paramvir Singh Cheema, Manoj Pahwa, Mohit Malik, Isha Talwar, Mukesh Chhabra, and Gippy Garewal, among others. It takes the story ahead from where it ended in part one, which was released in December last year.

The trailer for the show gives a glimpse into the character of Cheema, who is up to take revenge for the murder of his father, Taara Singh. Pratap Deol (Manoj Pahwa) and Guru Deol (Mohit Malik) return in their relentless battle to safeguard Teeja Sur. Isha Talwar plays an upcoming artist who is trying to sell her song but to no avail. The second part of the series promises to be even more thrilling and darker while addressing some harsh truths about the music industry in Punjab.

Sharing the trailer, the makers wrote, “The dark truth behind the glitz of music! Chamak – The Conclusion streaming from 16th August on Sony LIV!”

The first part of the show told the story of Kaala, who is an aspiring singer from Punjab. He tries to know more about the death of Taara Singh, a legendary singer who was murdered in broad daylight during his performance.

Chamak- The Conclusion is produced by Geetanjali Mehelwa Chauhan, Rohit Jugraj Chauhan and Sumeet Dubey.
