Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, Vaani Kapoor and Fardeen Khan starrer comedy Khel Khel Mein now has a new release date. The film, directed by Mudassar Aziz (Happy Bhag Jayegi, 2016 and Pati Patni Aur Woh, 2019), was earlier slated to come out on September 6 but now its theatrical release has been moved to an earlier date of August 15.

The film also features Ammy Virk, Pragya Jaiswal and Aditya Seal.

Taapsee took to Instagram recently to make the announcement. She posted a picture of the film’s cast along with the director and wrote, “This Independence Day, step into a mad world of laughter, drama & loads of fun! Mark your calendars for August 15, 2024 when Khel Khel Mein hits the theatres.”

As per reports, the film is a Hindi remake of the 2016 Italian comedy-drama Perfect Strangers.

The film will see Akshay reunite with Taapsee after Mission Mangal (2019). He has worked with Vaani before in Bell Bottom (2021). The film will also mark the big screen return of Fardeen Khan after 14 years.

Khel Khel Mein is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Vipul D Shah, Ashwin Varde, RajeshBahl, Shashikant Sinha and Ajay Rai.
