It’s a bloody affair. The trailer of Lakshya and Tanya Maniktala starrer violent-actioner Kill was unveiled by the makers on Wednesday. Directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, the film also features Ashish Vidyarthi and Raghav Juyal.

As per the trailer, Kill tells the story of a soldier (played by Lakshya). He, along with his partner (Tanya), is travelling on a train. He proposes to her and she says yes. But their happiness is short lived after some goons, headed by Raghav Juyal’s character, hijack the train. Lakshya’s character, however, is no ordinary soldier. He turns into a killing machine when his partner is risked. Kill boasts to be the bloodiest film in the history of Indian cinema and the trailer, fittingly, showcases multiple stabbings (one in an eye), arms being broken and a man’s face being set on fire.

Kill has been produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, along with Guneet Monga’s Sikhya Entertainment.

Last year, the film had its premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) where it was appreciated for its action sequences. Nikhil, the director, has earlier helmed films like Apurva (2023) and Brij Mohan Amar Rahe (2017). Kill will be released in theatres on July 5.
