Neeraj Pandey, the writer and director of Ajay Devgn and Tabu starrer romantic-drama Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha, revealed the release date of the film’s trailer on Tuesday.
The film’s lead actress Tabu shared a photo on Instagram which shows a couple from behind, sitting on rocks and staring at a sun-washed sea. She captioned the post, “Pakka na? Koi humko alag toh nahi karega na? (Sure, no? Nobody will separate us right?).”
Ajay took to the comments section and wrote, “Hum check kiye the, abhi tak koi paida nahin hua hai (I checked. Anybody, capable of separating us hasn’t been born yet).” Neeraj also commented and revealed the release date of the trailer. “Can't wait for you all to watch the trailer of this epic love story on 13th June.”
The film also features Saiee M Manjrekar and Shantanu Maheshwari in pivotal roles.
As per reports, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha, is a musical journey spanning over a period of 20 years. It is set between 2002 and 2023.
The film will be Neeraj's first theatrical directorial since Aiyaary (2018). The director since then has been working on web series like Special Ops, Khakee: The Bihar Chapter and The Freelancer.
This will be Ajay’s tenth collaboration with Tabu. The actors have previously worked together in blockbusters like the Drishyam series and recently Bholaa.
Auron Mein Kaha Dum Tha is scheduled to release in theatres on July 4.
