The trailer for Ishq Vishk Rebound was released by the makers on Tuesday. Directed by acclaimed Marathi director Nipun Avinash Dharmadhikari, the film stars Rohit Saraf, Naila Grrewal, Jibraan Khan, and Pashmina Roshan in pivotal roles. The film is a spiritual successor to Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao’s Ishq Vishk (2003).

The trailer gives a fair idea about the film, which is a teenage romance set amidst the context of new-age relationships and the complexities they bring on board. It begins with the character of Pashmina going on a rant about how films have defined an idea of love that has left her confused. It is a story of three friends and how problems emerge in the course of their development. What follows is confusion, breakups and promises that are not kept.

The film is written by Dr. Vinay Chhawal, Vaishali Kamalakar Naik, and Ketan Pedgaonkar with additional screenplay written by Akarsh Khurana and Nipun. Rochak Kohli serves as the music director with lyrics by Gurpreet Saini, Kumaar, and Gautam G Sharma. It is produced by Ramesh Taurani and Jaya Taurani and will be released in theatres on June 21.
