Bad Cop actor Harleen Sethi: Refreshing to see a woman call the shots in a male dominated world

The series stars Anurag Kashyap and Gulshan Devaiah

Actor Harleen Sethi, who gained fame after essaying the role of Nimrat in Sudip Sharma’s Netflix series Kohrra, will soon be seen playing a cop alongside Gulshan Devaiah and Anurag Kashyap in Disney+ Hotstar’s upcoming series Bad Cop.

Harleen’s character Devika is a senior officer and the wife of Gulshan’s Karan, a junior policeman, in the series.

Reflecting on her role, Harleen shared, “It's refreshing to see a woman call the shots in the male dominated cop world. Devika is a 'bad cop' who doesn't shy away from expressing her authority because she is proud of her professional achievements. She holds her own in the male-dominated police workforce and has an unwavering vision for what she wants.”

The show also stars Saurabh Sachdeva. It is helmed by Crakk: Jeetega… Toh Jiyegaa (2024) director Aditya Datt and adapted from the German show Bad Cop: Kriminell Gut (2017). It will start streaming from June 21.
