Actor Harleen Sethi, who gained fame after essaying the role of Nimrat in Sudip Sharma’s Netflix series Kohrra, will soon be seen playing a cop alongside Gulshan Devaiah and Anurag Kashyap in Disney+ Hotstar’s upcoming series Bad Cop.

Harleen’s character Devika is a senior officer and the wife of Gulshan’s Karan, a junior policeman, in the series.

Reflecting on her role, Harleen shared, “It's refreshing to see a woman call the shots in the male dominated cop world. Devika is a 'bad cop' who doesn't shy away from expressing her authority because she is proud of her professional achievements. She holds her own in the male-dominated police workforce and has an unwavering vision for what she wants.”

The show also stars Saurabh Sachdeva. It is helmed by Crakk: Jeetega… Toh Jiyegaa (2024) director Aditya Datt and adapted from the German show Bad Cop: Kriminell Gut (2017). It will start streaming from June 21.
