Govinda launches his own OTT app called Filmy Lattu

His 2017 film Aa Gaya Hero is streaming on the platform

Govinda took to Instagram on Friday to announce his own OTT app called Filmy Lattu. His 2017 film, Aa Gaya Hero, is currently streaming on the platform. The film was written and produced by Govinda and marked his comeback to films. It was directed by Dipankar Senapati and Dinesh Chand Meena.

Sharing a poster to make the announcement, Govinda wrote in the caption, “Presenting my own OTT app “Filmy Lattu”. Download now and watch my film Aa Gaya Hero.”

Apart from him, Aa Gaya Hero also stars Ashutosh Rana, Murali Sharma, Makarand Deshpande, Chandrachur Singh and Harish Kumar in pivotal roles. Govinda plays the role of a cop who is called to nab a dreaded terrorist.

Govinda also starred in two films after this, one was Fry Day (2018), directed by Abhishek Dogra and the other, Rangeela Raja (2019), featured him in a double role. He is best known for creating a new range of comedy in the 1990s with his collaboration with director David Dhawan in films like, Raja Babu (1994), Coolie No. 1 (1995), Hero No. 1(1997) and Haseena Maan Jaayegi (1999).
