Producer Sajid Nadiadwala recently expressed his excitement for the release of the Kartik Aaryan starrer, Chandu Champion. He said that the film is about India and everyone, especially children should watch it.

Talking about it, the producer said, "The film is very good. It's very beautiful. I thought that it's an inspiration for the youth of India. That anyone can become a champion. This is a movie about India. I want every child to watch this movie.”

The film is inspired by the real-life story of freestyle swimmer Murlikant Petkar, who was a Jawan of the Craftsman rank in the Corps of Electronics and Mechanical Engineers in the Indian Army and won the country's first Paralympic gold. It is written by Kabir himself, Sumit Arora, and Sudipto Sarkar and also stars Vijay Raaz and Rajpal Yadav.

Jointly produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and Kabir Khan, Chandu Champion is set for a June 14 release.
