Avinash Tiwary and Triptii Dimri’s debut film Laila Majnu will be re-released in Kashmir on August 2. The film is directed by Sajid Ali, the younger brother of Imtiaz Ali. It is written by both the brothers together.

With theatres opening up in the Valley, Ranbir Kapoor's Rockstar was also released recently. Both Laila Majnu and Rockstar present a scenic view of the valley.

Laila Majnu originally released in theatres on September 7, 2018. Both Avinash and Triptii have come a long way in their careers since then. Avinash's last film Madgaon Express was received well, and Triptii’s recent Bad Newz is going strong at the box office. After Laila Majnu, Triptii and Avinash were also seen together in Bulbbul (2020).
