Actor Boman Irani and filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani have worked together on several films, including 3 Idiots (2009), Munna Bhai MBBS (2003) and Lage Raho Munnabhai (2006).

Recently in an interview Boman was all praises for Rajkumar. He said, “We began our careers together in the film industry, and the conversations I had with him prior to any film were invaluable. Whether it’s 3 Idiots, Lage Raho, or even the character of an old man in Sanju, it’s pretty priceless in his eyes, and writing a script takes a long time. I like how he puts his entire being into the film."

Boman was last seen in the Rajkumar directorial Dunki, which starred Shah Rukh Khan, Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal among others.
