Shahid Kapoor’s action thriller Deva will be released on February 14, 2025, the makers announced on Friday. It was earlier scheduled to be released on October 11. Directed by acclaimed Malayalam filmmaker Rosshan Andrrews, the film also stars Pooja Hegde and Pavail Gulati in pivotal roles.

The makers shared Shahid’s look from the film where he is seen holding a gun and wearing a bullet proof jacket. He plays a cop in the actioner while Pooja essays the role of a journalist. In the caption, they wrote, “Experience the exciting adrenaline rush of #Deva, as this power-packed action thriller hits theatres on 14th February, 2025!”

Shahid shared the same on his social media and wrote, “Get ready for a violent Valentine’s Day. Deva, releasing in theaters on 14th Feb 2025!”

The makers earlier announced the completion of shoot for the film, sharing pictures from a wrap party where Pooja was seen cutting a cake.

Deva is produced by Siddharth Roy Kapoor and Zee Studios. It is written by Hussain Dalal (2 States, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani), Arshad Syed (Shaadi Ke Side Effects, Student of the Year 2) and Sumit Arora (Jawan, Chandu Champion).
