Kartik Aaryan shares photo with his trainer for Chandu Champion, says ‘Will always be grateful’ for the film

Directed by Kabir Khan, the film was released in theatres on June 14

Kartik Aaryan took to Instagram to share a photo with his trainer for Chandu Champion as he wrote a short note on the film. Directed by Kabir Khan, the film also stars Vijay Raaz, Rajpal Yadav, Yashpal Sharma, Shreyas Talpade and Aniruddh Dave in pivotal roles.

In the photo, Kartik is posing with his trainer Tridev Pandey, sharing his bare-bodied look from the film. In the caption, Kartik wrote, “It’s been a month since #ChanduChampion released in cinemas and the love and appreciation keeps pouring in. Will always be grateful to Sajid Sir and Kabir Sir.”

He reposted the photo from Tridev’s account who had praised Kartik’s dedication for the role. He had written about Kartik in the caption, “What a journey it has been! Kartik Aaryan’s 1.5 years of consistent hard work-out and determination to do justice to his character has paid off. This picture shows the result of all his training and effort. It proves that anything is possible if you work hard and train well.”

Chandu Champion is based on the extraordinary life of Murlikant Petkar, India's first Paralympic gold medallist in freestyle swimming. 

It is written by Kabir himself, Sumit Arora, and Sudipto Sarkar. Jointly produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and Kabir Khan, the film was released in theatres on June 14.
