Pakistani actor Fawad Khan opened up recently about his bond with his Ae Dil Hai Mushkil co-star Ranbir Kapoor and said that he shares a good relationship with him. He also talked about being in touch with some producers over chat and call.

The 2016 Karan Johar directorial marked the last Hindi film of Fawad as cine bodies in the country issued a ban on Pakistani actors working in Indian films after a terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir in 2016.

During an interaction with Pinkvilla, Fawad said that he and Ranbir speak sometimes over phone. “Hamari baat ho jaati hai kabhi chat pe (We speak sometimes over chat) and on phone so I have been in touch and I have enjoyed a very good relationship with the Kapoor family and there is still a lot of love and respect even with Karan and Shakun Batra. So, there are friendships," he said.

He added, "There are some Indian producer friends with whom I chat sometimes, and we plan to meet somewhere, so one and off we talk. We keep in touch and we are still very cordial and still very friendly and there is no love lost.”

The actor will be seen next in the Zee Zindagi original series Barzakh, which also stars Sanam Saeed. The series is set in Hunza Valley and has elements of magical realism as it narrates the story of an old man who is all set to marry the ghost of his first love.

Fawad has featured in Indian films like Khoobsurat (2014) and Kapoor & Sons (2016).
