In a heartwarming video from Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding festivities, Amitabh Bachchan and Ravi Kishan can be seen praising each other’s recent performances.

In a video posted by Ravi on his Instagram, during the Shubh Ashirwad ceremony of Anant and Radhika, the actor-MP can be seen meeting Mr. Bachchan and complimenting his work in Kalki 2898 AD. Mr. Bachchan is also complimenting Ravi for his portrayal of the cop Manohar in Laapataa Ladies.

Bohot accha kaam kiya (You did a very good job),” says Mr. Bachchan to which Ravi replies in Awadhi, “Main kya kehne ja raha tha aap to bhula hi diye (You made me forget what I was about to say).” Mr. Bachchan then hugs Ravi.

Ravi then points towards people capturing the video and says, “Ye sab log paglaye the ki theatre me hi dekhenge film (These people went crazy that they want to experience the film in the theater).” Amitabh replies, “Kuchh nahi bas chhota sa role tha humara (Nothing much, I had a small part in the movie).” The lady recording the clip says, “It was beautiful. Aapke aate hi we had goosebumps (We got goosebumps when you came on-screen).”

Ravi captioned the post in Hindi and wrote, “I was praising his character yesterday, and the great actor Shri @amitabhbachchan ji was praising my character Manohar from #laapataaladies. This shows the greatness of the actor and the person. That’s why he is the megastar of the century. His love and blessings remain in this form.”

Mr. Bachchan played Ashwatthama in Kalki 2898 AD.
