Taapsee Pannu and Vikrant Massey’s Haseen Dillruba has completed 3 years since its release. Directed by Vinil Mathew and written by Kanika Dhillon, the film also starred Harshvardhan Rane, Aditya Srivastava and Shivaji Satam in pivotal roles.

Netflix shared a video to mark the three-year anniversary of the film, featuring Vikrant and Taapsee’s stills from the film. In the caption, they wrote, “3 years since we fell in love with these Haseen Dilrubas.”

Writer Kanika wrote a long note on Instagram, reminiscing on the film. She shared some photos with Taapsee and wrote in the caption, “With my Haseen Dilruba- it’s been 3 Years of this roller coaster journey, Rani Kashyap- you have been a leading lady for me, not just with your immense talent - but gumption to stand with me against on all odds in the endeavour to tell the most Haseen story.” She also expressed her excitement on the second part.

The sequel of the film, Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba will be released soon on Netflix. It will also feature Sunny Kaushal and Jimmy Shergill in pivotal roles and is being helmed by Jayprad Desai.

Haseen Dillruba revolves around the story of a woman who is accused of planning her husband’s murder.
