Diljit Dosanjh’s Jatt & Juliet 3 has earned over Rs 17.67 crore in four days in India, according to sacnilk.com. It had earlier become the second-highest Punjabi film opener, earning over Rs 3.5 crore on its first day of release.

After that, it saw steady growth over the weekend, minting Rs 3.6 crore on Day 2, Rs 4.15 crore on Day 3, and Rs 5.35 crore on Day 4. On Monday, it collected Rs 1.07 crore. It faced tough competition from Prabhas-Deepika Padukone starrer Kalki 2898 AD, which released on the same day in multiple languages and has already made Rs 329.58 crore in India.

Directed by Jagdeep Sidhu, the film also stars Neeru Bajwa, Jasmin Bajwa, BN Sharma, and Rana Ranbir in pivotal roles. The first part of the franchise released back in 2012 and became a massive blockbuster, after which the makers made a second part, which was the highest-grossing Punjabi film then.
