The teaser of Yami Gautam headliner Article 370 was unveiled by the makers on Saturday. The film, directed by Aditya Suhas Jambhale with story, screenplay and dialogues by Yami’s husband and director Aditya Dhar and Monal Thaakar. It also stars Priya Mani and Arun Govil in pivotal roles.

The teaser opens with drone shots of the northernmost state. We are shown how India’s “crowning glory” is infested by “terrorism” and how all fundings going from the Centre is used for “terrorist activities” in Kashmir. The teaser also shows that all Kashmiri politicians are corrupt. Yami Gautam plays an intelligence agent in the movie, which revolves around the takedown of “terrorism” in Kashmir by rendering Article 370 ineffective.

The Central government on August 5, 2019, had revoked Article 370, which gave special status to the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir, and bifurcated it into union territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.

Article 370 is backed by Jio Studios and B62 Studios. It will be released in theatres on February 23.
