The trailer of The Indrani Mukerjea Story: Buried Truth was released on Monday by the makers. The four-episode docu-series unravels the truth behind the complex murder case of Sheena Bora. It is directed by Uraaz Bahl and Shaana Levy.

The trailer gives a peek into the chilling world in which the docu-series takes place. Giving a glimpse into the life of media tycoon Indrani Mukerjea and her extended family, the series tackles the question of the cold-blooded murder of her sister Sheena Bora. It is revealed further in the trailer, that Sheena was in fact her daughter. It promises to unravel many more secrets of the family and reveal the truth about the murder of Sheena.

Indrani features in the documentary along with her daughter Vidhie. In the end of the trailer, when Indrani is asked if she has murdered her daughter Sheena, she says, “What a stupid question!” The series will also feature interviews with high-profile lawyers and journalists who broke the case. Produced by the US-based MakeMake and the India Today Group, the docu-series will be released on Netflix on February 23.
