The teaser of the upcoming film Bastar, starring Adah Sharma, was released by the makers on Tuesday. The film is directed by Sudipto Sen and written by Amarnath Jha, Sudipto Sen and Vipul Amrutlal Shah, who is also the creative director. The film also stars Indira Tiwari, Vijay Krishna, Yashpal Sharma, Raima Sen, and Shilpa Shukla in pivotal roles.

The teaser introduces Adah as an IPS officer and she addresses the camera directly in trying to bring forth the story of the Naxalite movement in India. Sharing the teaser on Instagram, Adah wrote in the caption, “A story coloured red with the blood of innocent people! Capture the untold story. Bastar-The Naxal Story.”

Bastar is presented by Sunshine Pictures and produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah. It is co-produced by Aashin A Shah and Ravichand Nallappa. Shot by Ragul Herian Dharuman and edited by Dev Rao Jadhav, the film is set to hit the theatres on March 15.
