Release date of Farhan Akhtar’s 120 Bahadur out

The war film has been directed by Razneesh ‘Razy’ Ghai

The release date for Farhan Akhtar upcoming war drama 120 Bahadur has been unveiled. The Razneesh ‘Razy’ Ghai directorial will release in theatres on November 21, 2025, the makers announced on Thursday.

The film will tell the story of Param Vir Chakra Major Shaitan Singh Bhati and the soldiers of Charlie Company of the 13 Kumaon Regiment. The military action film is set against the backdrop of the 1962 Indo-China war and draws inspiration from the Battle of Rezang La, where 120 Indian soldiers fought against several thousand Chinese troops.

Last month, a new poster from the film was released, which showed Farhan’s intense look as he is seen firing a gun and showing bloodied teeth.

Farhan is no stranger to war films. One of his most acclaimed directorial is the Hrithik Roshan starrer Lakshya (2004).

The film features music by Amit Trivedi and lyrics by Javed Akhtar. It is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment and Trigger Happy Studios.
