Shah Rukh Khan took to social media on Thursday to wish superstar Rajinikanth on his 74th birthday. He shared an old picture of himself with Rajinikanth on Instagram and also penned a heartfelt note in the caption.

“To the coolest of the cool. The bossest of all the bosses. The man, the legend and an absolutely remarkably simple man, despite being the Superest of Stars!! Sir, thank u for inspiring us. Be healthy and know u are respected and loved too much. Have a great birthday @rajinikanth sir,” wrote Shah Rukh.

Apart from Shah Rukh, several other celebrities extended their heartfelt wishes to the actor. Veteran actor Kamal Haasan wrote, “Happy birthday to my dear friend, superstar @rajinikanth. May you achieve more and more success; be surrounded by good health; be filled with happiness; live long.”

Rajinikanth’s former son-in-law and actor Dhanush also wished him. “Happy birthday to the one, only one, super one .. SUPERSTAR .. the phenomenon that redefined mass and style .. my thalaiva @rajinikanth sir (sic),” he posted on X.

On the work front, Rajinikanth was last seen in Vettaiyan. The Tamil actioner was directed by TJ Gnanavel and also features Amitabh Bachchan, Manju Warrier, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Abhirami, Dushara Vijayan and Ritika Singh in pivotal roles.
