Taapsee Pannu, who reprised the role of Rani Kashyap in Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba, recently spoke about getting back into the character, learning from the feedback on Haseen Dillruba and why she found it easier to do the sequel than the 2021original.

“I was more confident about part 2 because in part 1 I was a fish out of water. I had never been given the role of a seductress who is going to use her femininity to her advantage. Before this I had always been chosen for parts which are headstrong and just going to fight for their right and all of that,” says Taapsee. “My casting wasn’t obvious and I was very cautious in the first part. By the time the sequel came I knew what audiences had liked and not liked. I used all that feedback and approached part 2 with much more confidence. That’s why Rani of Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba seems more in control and clearer about what she wants and what she is going to do for it than in part 1.”

Apart from Taapsee, Phir Aayi Hassen Dillruba, also stars Vikrant Massey and Sunny Kaushal. When it comes to other projects, Taapsee was recently seen in Khel Khel Mein, headlined by Akshay Kumar.
