Vicky Kaushal’s The Great Indian Family makes Rs 3.2 crore in two days

Vicky Kaushal and Manushi Chhillar’s family comedy The Great Indian Family is having a slow run at the box-office. As per trade tracker Sacnilk, the film minted Rs 1.8 crore on Saturday. The Vijay Krishna Acharya directorial opened with Rs 1.4 crore on Friday. The total collection of the film currently stands at Rs 3.2 crore.

Apart from Vicky and Manushi, TGIF also stars Kumud Mishra, Manoj Pahwa, Yashpal Sharma, Sadiya Siddiqui, Alka Amin, Bhuvan Arora, Aasif Khan Ashutosh Ujjwal and social media influencer Srishti Dixit.

The film revolves around Bhajan Kumar (Vicky Kaushal) who is a bhajan singer. He comes from a well-known priestly Hindu family but things go south when it is revealed that he was actually born as a Muslim.

It is produced by Aditya Chopra and made under the banner of Yash Raj Films.
