Prime Video released the trailer of the upcoming crime investigation show P.I. Meena, starring Tanya Maniktala in the titular role, on Tuesday. Created by Arindam Mitra and directed by Debaloy Bhattacharya the series also stars Parambrata Chattopadhyay, Jisshu Sengupta, Vinay Pathak, and Zarina Wahab in pivotal roles.

The trailer shows Tanya as Meenakshi, who starts investigating the death of a man named Partho, whose death seems to be caused by an accident but might actually be murder. The case becomes serious and interesting as a mysterious viral fever spreads across the city, and the virus may be connected to Partho's demise. 

Talking about the series Arindam previously said, “The show will transport the audience into the dark, gritty, and maze-like world of crime through the lens of private investigator Meena. It is a strong, female-protagonist driven story, complemented by Debalaoy’s slick direction.”

P.I. Meena will have 8 episodes and will premiere on Prime Video on November 3.
