‘Bolo Na’, the first song from Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s upcoming directorial 12th Fail, was released by the makers on Friday. The romantic melody, picturized on the film’s leads Vikrant Massey and Medha Shankr, has been crooned by Shreya Ghoshal and Shaan.
The music video shows love blooming between Vikrant and Medha’s characters as they attend coaching classes together. Parts of the song are shot in Delhi’s Dilli Haat and have soft, romantic visuals.
The lyrics for the romantic ballad have been written by Swanand Kirkire. The song is composed by Shantanu Moitra.
12th Fail is based on Anurag Pathak's novel about the journey of IPS officer Manoj Kumar Sharma and IRS officer Shraddha Joshi. The film is also inspired by millions of true stories of students attempting the world's toughest competitive exam - UPSC.
The film marks the return of Vidhu to the director’s chair after 2020’s Shikara.
12th Fail is set to release worldwide on October 27 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada.
