On Friday, Prime Video announced the premiere date of the second season of TVF's coming-of-age series Aspirants. The new season will premiere on the streaming platform on October 25.

The series is about three friends, Abhilash, Gurpreet Singh (Guri) and Shwet Ketu Jha (SK), played by Naveen Kasturia, Shivankit Singh Parihar and Abhilash Thapliyal respectively. They are all UPSC aspirants. It also features Namita Dubey and Sunny Hinduja, with the latter playing the character of Sandeep Bhaiya.

A comedy-drama, Aspirants is created by Arunabh Kumar and Shreyansh Pandey. Deepesh Sumitra and Jagdish have penned the screenplay for the series, which is helmed by Apoorv Singh Karki of Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai fame.
