Actor Karishma Tanna has won the Best Lead Actress accolade at the Busan Film Festival for her role in Scoop. The series has also won the Best Series Award at the prestigious Film Festival. The win has made her the only Indian female actor to achieve the remarkable feat at the prestigious film festival.  

Directed by Hansal Mehta, Scoop features Tanna Jagruti Pathak, a determined journalist on a quest for justice in a politically tumultuous nation.
