As Tiger 3 crosses the Rs 250 crore-mark in the domestic box office, Salman Khan, in a recent interview, announced that his next film will be titled The Bull. Backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, the film will be helmed by Tamil director Vishnuvardhan, who made his Hindi debut with Shidharth Malhotra starrer Shershaah.

Salman Khan will be playing a paramilitary officer in the film. As per reports it will be a biopic of Brigadier Farukh Bulsara, a soldier of the Indian Army, who led Operation Cactus in 1988. The operation was conducted in Maldives to thwart a coup attempt at the regime of then president Maumoon Abdul Gayoom.

While speaking to Zoom, Salman listed his upcoming films which included The Bull, Dabangg 4, Kick 2 and a family entertainer with Sooraj Barjatya. As per reports, the Barjatya film has been tentatively titled Prem Ki Shaadi.

Earlier this year, when Vishnu Vardhan’s Shershaah received a special jury National Award, he confirmed to PTI his collaboration with Karan Johar for his next. "I'm proud. It's an honour. Just doing a regional (film). Then, I have to do my next... Karan Johar's film with Dharma."
