Actor Tahir Raj Bhasin, who was recently seen in the Disney+ Hotstar series Sultan of Delhi, spoke about his journey in the film industry. Tahir, whose claim to fame was the role of the villain in Rani Mukerji-headliner Mardaani (2014), over the years also starred in Chhichhore (2019), 83 (2021), Loop Lapeta (2022), among others.

“When I joined the industry, I was told that maybe I won’t survive because I didn’t know anyone,” said Tahir.

“I didn’t want to have a Plan B. To have disproved the naysayers and be self-made today is very empowering. For me, acting was the only plan that I had and I am glad that it all panned out well for me. I am just starting and raring to go,” he added.

His latest series Sultan of Delhi is currently streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.
