On Tuesday, makers released the teaser of Godhra. The film's tagline reads 'Accident of Conspiracy'. Helmed by M K Shivaaksh, the film is based on the 2002 Godhra riots. 

The teaser starts by showing the Sabarmati Express, the arson of Sabarmati Express which triggered the three-day communal violence in Gujarat. The teaser then goes on to promise to dig deeper into what caused the riots. The film is based on the Nanavati Commission report. 

The official note in the teaser read, “This movie was made after a lot of hard work and five years of research. Many shocking facts were discovered during the research for this movie, which is well presented in the movie with proof.”

Godhra is produced by B.J. Purohit and Ramkumar Rao. While the makers have not yet announced the release date, the film will hit theatres soon.
