Makers release trailer of Mumbaikar

It is a remake of Lokesh Kanagaraj’s debut directorial Maanagaram

The trailer of Mumbaikar, the upcoming Hindi film, was released by the makers on social media on Saturday. Directed by Santosh Sivam, the film is a remake of Lokesh Kanagaraj’s debut directorial Maanagaram.

The film stars Vijay Sethupathi, Ranvir Shorey, Vikrant Massey, Tanya Maniktala, Sanjay Mishra, Sachin Khedekar, and Hridhu Haroon, among others. The film will start streaming on JioCinema from June 2.

The trailer introduces Mumbai as a bustling city, as the various characters of the film are introduced. There is mistaken kidnap, a don in action, a new youngster in town as the trailer weaves in the fates of all the characters. Vijay Sethupathi will play Munishkanth’s role in the Hindi remake.

Mumbaikar will feature music by Prashant Pillai. The film is being shot by Santosh himself.
