Ajay Devgn's Bholaa gets an OTT release 

The film is a Hindi remake of the 2019 Tamil film Kaithi by Lokesh Kanagaraj

On Thursday, Prime Video announced that Ajay Devgn's latest outing Bholaa has premiered on the OTT platform. Apart from Ajay, who is also the director, the film also stars Tabu, Deepak Dobriyal, Vineet Kumar, Sanjay Mishra and Gajraj Rao in pivotal roles. The film is a Hindi remake of the 2019 Tamil film Kaithi by Lokesh Kanagaraj.

Kaithi/Bholaa tells the story of an ex-convict who is forced to help a cop bust a drug raid in return to let him meet his daughter. Ajay will be resuming the role played by Karthi.

Amala and Abhishek Bachchan are said to be making special appearances in the film. Written by Aamil Keeyan Khan, Ankush Singh, Sandeep Kewlani, and Shriidhar Dubey, Bholaa hit theatres on March 30 and opened to mixed reviews. The film marks Ajay’s fourth directorial after, U, Me aur Hum (2008), Shivaay (2016) and Runway 34 (2022).
