Ahead of the release of Chatrapathi, the upcoming film starring Sreenivas Bellamkonda, filmmaker SS Rajamouli conveyed his best wishes to the team.

It may be noted that the upcoming film is the Hindi adaptation of Rajamouli's 2005 Telugu film of the same name. In a video, Rajamouli said, "I am so happy because this is being brought to you by VV Vinayak garu, one of the massiest directors of the Indian film industry. The story is so close to my heart. All the best to Jayantilal Gada Aji. I am sure it has all his production muscle behind the film. It required that kind of support from him."

He also praised Bellamkonda Sreenivas noting that the story suits his body language. The film will hit the theatres on May 12. Nushrratt plays the female lead. Chatrapathi also stars Sahil Vaid, Amit Nair, Rajendra Gupta, Shivam Patil, Swapnil, Ashish Singh, Mohammed Monajir, Vedika and Jason in supporting roles. The film's core technical crew comprises cinematographer Nizar Ali Shafi, music composer Tanishk Bagchi and production designer Sunil Babu.
